Fee Schedule

It’s easier when you know what you’re in for! We believe in transparency, so initial fees will be discussed prior to booking your first appointment. For assessments a comprehensive plan will be finalised in your initial appointment - with no obligation to go ahead should we decide it’s not the right time. You can also take things slower if you would like to do things in a stage by stage process to help with payment.

Why are my assessment fees so expensive?

Enfys Psychology strives to provide a thorough and holistic assessment process, considering what is going on for you or your child and giving you appropriate recommendations specific to your needs. We want to provide you with an understanding of yourself or your child that includes both strengths and weaknesses, addressing as many areas of ability as possible, rather than just focusing on the challenges. Over our many years of experience, we have found that sometimes the areas that people think are strengths, may not be, and sometimes weaknesses aren’t as bad as people think!! For this reason we will assess all areas so we can provide accurate information about what is going on for you/your child.

Yes, you can get assessments cheaper with some other psychologists or organisations, but typically in these cases you are not getting a full picture of what is going on. When someone comes to us they often ask the question “Does my child have autism? Can I have an autism assessment please?” and while this is definitely part of what they are asking, we firmly believe that this is the surface level question, the bigger question that most people want to know is “My child is different to others, something doesn’t feel easy for them… what’s going on?” and with that in mind, we don’t want to narrowly assess a single area. We take a step by step approach to considering all facets of each person who has an assessment with us.

This means that after we provide you with an estimated assessment fee following your intake meeting, after we start the assessment, we may very quickly get an answer, and therefore not feel the need to continue. Your fee may be lower than originally expected! We don’t agree with over assessment - but we do believe in doing a good assessment. Although we try very hard to keep the fees within the range we originally estimate, sometimes the fees might be slightly higher, or we might take longer than anticipated. All all stages of the assessment process, we will keep you informed and never go ahead without discussing the pros and cons with you first. Please ask questions any time you feel unsure or need clarification.

  • Group Supervision (3 supervisees): $90 +GST

  • Group Supervision (2 supervisees): $125 +GST
